Fresh from being crowned the Overall Winner of the 2026 MLT NZ Gold Guitar Awards, Southland's own Simon Thompson is heading to RIFF for a special Sunday afternoon of music and insight.
Joined by rising country music talent Lara Kerr, this intimate event will see Simon share the stories behind his journey, his recent Gold Guitar success, and what's next as he continues to make his mark on the New Zealand country music scene.
Hosted by Corbyn Shuttleworth, the afternoon will feature an up close interview with Simon before he takes to the stage for a special acoustic performance.
Come along for an afternoon of great music, great stories, and a chance to celebrate one of Southland's brightest country music stars.
