J Callander

J Callander is returning to Invercargill with his patented brand of outlaw folk rock.

J Callander is the musical and lyrical product of growing up on his parents’ Simon & Garfunkel and Bob Dylan records......before graduating to early nineties rockers like Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden......and then finally discovering the likes of Mark Knopfler, Johnny Cash……and most especially, New Zealand’s own criminally under-appreciated, Derek Lind.

Along with a proverbial sackful of new songs, Jeremy will be playing songs from his recent record, Shadows in the Shade (mixed and mastered by Oscar and two time Grammy nominee Aaron Glemboski).
